0001-01-01

Purpose

Address and develop the skills needed for the local ‘tech-minded’ agribusiness sector to bolster regional capabilities.

Funding

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action under the Agriculture TAFE and Training Fund.

Partnership

The program will be designed in collaboration with local industry and delivered in partnership with the Geelong Tech School.

The Gordon has secured a Victorian government grant to produce engaging, relevant training for the local agribusiness sector to improve technology adoption and integration.

A Project Advisory Group (PAG) made up of training staff, local industry groups, and representatives of local agribusinesses was established to provide expert input on the project and assist in delivering project outcomes.

A series of ten non-accredited microcredential courses will be available online in 2024.
