This is a FREE COURSE!

This course is designed specifically for all Licensed Electricians (A), as part of the Professional Development program developed in conjunction with Energy Safe Victoria. This course must be completed two years prior to your licence renewal. For example, if your licence is due to expire on 13 August 2024, you can complete the CPD training any time between 13 August 2022 and 12 August 2024. The CPD training is the means by which electrical licence holders can maintain, improve, broaden and enhance knowledge, skills and competence in the Electrical Industry.

Pre-Requisites and additional attendance information

To enrol in this course all candidates must hold a current electricians license (A)

All candidates must present to the practical class with:

  • Multi Meter/ Volt meter (recommended)
  • Digital or analogue IRC tester (recommended)
  • Basic hand tools (recommended)
  • LOTO kit for isolation/Disconnect/Reconnect (recommended)
  • Electrical LV Gloves (recommended)
  • BYOD – Laptop / Ipad / Tablet
  • Long pants
  • Long sleeve top
  • Enclosed foot wear
  • Safety eye wear

AS/NZS Standards, Regulations, hand tools and equipment will be provided

Delivery and Assessment

Enrolled students will undertake pre-learning activities online prior to attending a full day of face to face activities. You will receive a link to the online pre-learning activities that must be completed prior to commencing the face to face class.
