The Gordon secures partnership with multinational

G4S training partnership signingThe Gordon recently met with G4S Australia to sign a three-year partnership to deliver the multinational security giants training.  

Up to 150 correctional officers, supervising and monitoring offenders and detainees across Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia will undertake the nationally accredited training. 

Jana Perera, Executive Director of Commercial Business at The Gordon said “Certificate III in Correctional Practice was co-designed and co-developed with G4S subject matter experts to help bridge skill gaps, evolve individual and team capability, and enable continuous workforce transformation to increase the organisation’s resilience.”

The partnership demonstrates the investment from G4S to ensure their workforce gains the best foundational skills to work in correctional facilities throughout the country.

“Our team of experts from The Gordon design solutions specific to industry workforce goals – whether it be immediate upskilling and growth, employee engagement or enhanced team leadership”, continued Ms Perera.

Rebecca Power, Managing Director of G4S Australia and New Zealand said the new partnership will ensure current and future correctional staff develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in Australia’s correctional facilities.

The program will be delivered by The Gordon through a blended format comprising of online tutorials, face-to-face onsite training and self-paced learning.
