How to apply

Step 1  - Choose a course
View our courses for international students and select your chosen course and desired study
location at international courses list.

Step 2 - Check entry requirements 
Check that you meet the entry requirements, including academic, English language, and Genuine Student requirement.

Step 3 - Prepare your application
Gather all the supporting documentation you need, including:

  • Colour photocopy of your passport
  • Certified copies of previous qualifications, including secondary school transcripts
  • Proof of your English language proficiency (if applicable)
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Work reference letter (if applicable)
  • Current eCoE (if applicable)
  • Current visa letter (if applicable)
  • Evidence of funds (if applicable).

Note: Make sure you supply certified translations for any documents that are not in English.

Step 4 - Submit an application
Apply online directly with all relevant supporting documents by visiting our international courses, OR apply through one of The Gordon's accreddited education agents.
 
We strongly recommend that international students apply through one of our accredited education agents. They will assist you in the preparation of all application documents and ensure you are well counselled on the Australian Government's Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirements for international students.

Step 5 - Receive offer
If your application is successful you will receive a Letter of Offer from The Gordon's International team.

Step 6 Accept offer and make payment 
Accept your offer by following all the instructions on your offer letter. If you receive a Conditional Letter of Offer, you must meet all conditions listed before accepting and making payment.

Step 7 - Confirmation of enrolment
The Gordon will issue an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) which you must provide to the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) to apply for your Australian student visa.

Step 8 - Apply for student visa
Check your visa requirements and apply for your visa to the Department of Home Affairs (DHA). More information on student visa applications can be found here.

Step 9  - Arrival and start your studies
Once your visa is granted, you can travel to Australia and start your course at The Gordon. The Gordon will send you information about the compulsory International Student Orientation in the weeks before the semester commences.
