This weld training course provides 40 hours of guided practical experience to meet the requirements of AS1796. At the beginning of the course, students will nominate a specific welding ticket for which they are seeking certification.
Our industry expert trainers will provide instruction, guidance and feedback on improving the welding techniques required to meet the welding standards of AS1796.

To enrol in this welding course offered by The Gordon, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Proof of welding experience can be a certified letter from your employer detailing your experience, including information on the welding process, types of joints, material thicknesses, and welding positions.
PPE equipment that students need to bring to class:
4 hours per night for 10 weeks
Upon successful completion you will receive a Certificate of Attendance
