You will learn
- How to shampoo hair to an industry standard
- Greet and prepare clients for services
- Dry hair to shape for ladies and men's styling
- Recommend and sell retail products
- Maintain stock control
Course outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program you will receive:
- Recognition of up to four VCE VET units at Units 1 and 2 level
- Certificate II in Salon Assistant qualification

Assessment is based on
- Hands-on work
- Practical Workplace Assessment as part of your mandatory Structured Workplace Learning
- Online assignments and quizzes
- Live model practice and assessments undertaken in The Studio Salon (you are expected to experience all treatments and to provide your own models for assessment)
